Just to let you know that on Thursday 21st April I have been invited to give a guest lecture at Gray's School of Art in Oil City itself: Aberdeen!
Here's a bit about this lecture programme that has been developed by Ian Irving:
"The Guests @ Gray’s visiting lecture programme is an important input into the continuous learning of our students and staff as a means of informing the School’s practice and research culture. The programme takes the form of a weekly lecture and question time and is open to all. It enables students and staff to encounter diverse approaches to art and design practice and research that stimulate, inform and challenge, helping to map and understand today’s professional and cultural context. The events are programmed with this in mind, and draw on the personal and professional connections made by Gray’s staff, nationally and internationally. "
I am not sure if it is just for students or open to the public when it says "open to all", but if you are in or around Aberdeen do try to come along! Contact details and info HERE
I have not quite finished putting together my talk yet, but you can be sure that drawing will be a big topic.
This image MAY appear in my slide show - but I do tend to change/alter/trash things at the last minute!

Hi. I attended the talk you gave today and I just wanted to say thanks! You talked with such enthusiasm it really inspired me, and most of my coursemates. It's great to see someone in the field do so well, and it was great to really learn about the way you approach drawing.
Thanks so much!
Susannah (Viscom student.)
